PLA activities in the waters and airspace around Taiwan

6 to 6 a.m. (UTC+8) Tuesday to Wednesday, Jan. 9-10
2.PLA activities：
8 PLA aircraft and 5 PLAN vessels around Taiwan were detected by 06:00 (UTC+8) today. 1 of the detected aircraft had crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait. R.O.C. Armed Forces have monitored the situation and tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems to respond to these activities.
3.PLA balloons：
One PRC’s balloon was detected at 15:41 yesterday after crossing the median line of the Taiwan Strait at the location 147 nautical miles northwest of Pingtung and at the altitude of approximately 30,000 feet. The balloon headed east and disappeared at 18:58 yesterday.
