The Ministry of National Defense clarified its press release regarding media reports on CCP aircraft carrier "Liaoning passing through the Taiwan Strait tonight" (9th April, 2020)
In response to the media report that "Liaoning will pass through the Taiwan Strait tonight," the Ministry of National Defense stated that the information is false and does not conform to the facts.
The Ministry of National Defense emphasized that the Army Forces will make use of joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance to fully grasp the situation around the Taiwan Strait and respond in a timely manner. Our nationals may rest assured that there is currently no abnormality.
