PLA activities in the waters and airspace around Taiwan

6 to 6 a.m. (UTC+8) Thursday to Friday, Dec. 19-20
2.PLA activities：
12 PLA aircraft and 5 PLAN vessels operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. 5 of the aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait, and entered Taiwan’s southwestern ADIZ. ROC Armed Forces have monitored the situation and employed CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and coastal missile systems in response to the detected activities.
3.PRC Balloon Activities：
3 PRC’s balloons were detected at 0751hr, 1219hr, and 1330hr yesterday. The locations were 152 nautical miles southwest of Keelung City, 98 nautical miles and 34 nautical miles southwest of Taichung City, and at altitudes of approximately 18,000 feet, 16,000 feet, and 15,000 feet. The balloons headed east and disappeared at 1002hr, 1244hr, and 1505hr accordingly yesterday.
