Ministry of National Defense Issues Statement Regarding Chinese Communist Party’s Carrier Rocket Launch

The Ministry of National Defense has stated the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) recent carrier rocket launch. At 01:17 on March 10, 2025, the CCP launched a carrier rocket carrying a satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province. The rocket's flight path passed over central Taiwan, heading toward the western Pacific, and remained above Earth's atmosphere during its trajectory.
The Ministry confirmed that the launch posed no threat to Taiwan. The ROC Armed Forces are actively monitoring the situation and are utilizing joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems to maintain appropriate levels of alert and to ensure a timely response if necessary.
