The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated that the Liaoning aircraft carrier fleet of the PLA Navy sailed through the northeastern waters of Taiwan at 01:30 today (18th), and continued setting on its voyage to the southeast of Yonaguni-jima of Japan. During the passage, the Armed Forces remained fully aware of relevant developments in the surrounding sea-water and air-space, and dispatched mission aircraft, warships, and shore-based missile systems to maintain strict vigilance and monitoring for subsequent response.
