In response to media speculations about adjustment operations for important military positions, the Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (2nd) that all personnel transfer operations of the Armed Forces are conducted in accordance with the Regulations on the Appointment of Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers of the Army, Navy, and Air Force and other regulations. The MND comprehensively considers the vacancy attributes, task execution needs, personnel management experience, and other factors, so that selection and recommendation procedures are followed accordingly and the most suitable candidates reviewed and appointed. As such, the MND urges the media to conduct full verification of the facts before issuing reports to avoid misleading the general public.
