The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated that since this morning (13th), it had detected 26 sorties of various CCP aircraft, including J-10s, J-11s, J-16s, Cy-30MKIs, and others conducting sea-faring activities in response to the flight of a US P-8A anti-submarine aircraft. Among them, 13 sorties crossed the median line of the Strait and extending into the southwest airspace, carrying out joint sea and air training with CCP warships. Four other CCP warships implemented combat readiness and patrols cruises. The Armed Forces adopted joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance measures to stay abreast of developments, and dispatched mission aircraft, warships, and shore-based missile systems to closely monitor the situation.
