10th Army Command stated today (30th) that as the novel coronavirus epidemic (NCP) heats up again the unit has approved sick leave for confirmed personnel according to the "Control actions of the Armed Forces for frequently seen infectious diseases", and implemented independent health management at home. Command has also strengthened sanitation efforts at camps to promote good health, prevent the spread of the epidemic, and maintain the combat effectiveness of troops.
10th Army Command pointed out that officers and some soldiers of their units have recently felt unwell, and developed upper respiratory symptoms during vacation. After screening, they tested positive for novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP) and reported to their superiors. Based on the "Control actions of the Armed Forces for frequently seen infectious diseases", those who are diagnosed with coronavirus can be granted sick leave, and manage their health at home independently. If they have been in close contact with others, health monitoring will be carried out and the area disinfected to prevent the spread of the disease.
10th Army Command stated that troops will also notify the regional health centers of confirmed cases, and continue to implement various epidemic prevention measures according to the epidemic prevention policies of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Military Medical Bureau to ensure the combat readiness of troops. 10th Army Command also requires cadres to pay close attention to the health of their subordinates, and strengthen family connections to ensure combat effectiveness.
