The 6th Army Command stated today (18th) that a soldier, whose surname us Tian, from the 584th Armored Brigade was suspected to have been involved in a conflict with a friend that resulted in the death of a person outside camp during a vacation. The case is currently under investigation by the local prosecutors’ office.
The 6th Army Command emphasizes that it will fully cooperate with the investigation of the police and prosecutors. Should any illegality be found, the Army will conduct a review and issue punishment. The Army will also continuously carry out legal education for officers and soldiers so they are aware of the impact of their actions outside the camp to ensure all recruits abide by the law and maintain the military's reputation.
