The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (12th) that a total of 36 CCP aircraft sorties (including 21 sorties crossing the median line of the Strait and extending into the south-west airspace) and three CCP vessel sorties were detected as at 17:00, and have continued to carry out maneuvers over the sea and air space of the Taiwan Strait. The Armed Forces have adopted mission aircraft, vessels, and shore-based missile systems to closely monitor and respond to the situation.
