Kinmen Defense Command stated today (2nd) that when the garrison troops were on patrol near the beach at Guishan this afternoon, they found food wrapped in garbage bags that were suspected of being dropped by unidentified drones. The garrison troops have already reported the incident to each post and unit, as well as persistently carried out intense alert and search. Regarding continuous provocation and harassment by drones from mainland China and the dumping of objects that jeopardize the safety of the military and civilians, the Armed Forces will, based on the principle of self-defense, take necessary and strong countermeasures for appropriate response to the situation.
