 In response to media reports that "certain legislators disclosed that more than half of newly-recruited servicemen at Jinliujie tested positive, were training while coughing, and did not even have their temperatures taken", the 6th Army Command stated today (8th) that the Armed Forces has standard operating procedures for epidemic prevention. After investigation, the alleged situation of "more than half of new recruits tested positive at Jinliujie military compound" never happened, nor had the unit received any complaints related to the above. In fact, the 6th Army Command places great importance on the information disclosed by the legislators, and had already dispatched professional medical staff to strictly inspect the epidemic prevention actions by its affiliated units to safeguard the health of all servicemen.

The 6th Army Command emphasizes that all servicemen of the Armed Forces are monitored with a high degree of vigilance and awareness of epidemic prevention. Even if the threat of the epidemic remains severe, the combat readiness of troops and their training is not affected, and the Armed Forces shall continue to strengthen all kinds of epidemic prevention measures maintain preparedness.
