The Air Force Command issued a press release stating that "a serviceman of active duty is suspected of an altercation with his wife and committing suicide after killing his two youngest sons"
In response to the media report that "a serviceman of active duty is suspected of an altercation with his wife and committing suicide after killing his two young sons," the Air Force Command stated today (13) that the first-class private with the surname Xiao was found to have encountered such an unfortunate event of family violence and self-injury during his vacation today. Right now, the entire case has been placed under police investigation .
The Air Force Command is deeply saddened and regretful about this event. In addition to working fully with the prosecution and police units to investigate the relevant causes, the Command will assist the family members in dealing with the aftermath of this event and strengthen education for both officers and soldiers about respect for life in order to prevent the recurrence of similar cases.
