Army Command issues a press release clarifying media reports that “the Army advocates vaccinations for officers and soldiers"

In response to media reports stating that "the Army advocates vaccinations for officers and soldiers”, Army Logistics Command stated today that Command had prepared a vaccination and health educational pamphlet on August 24 as a reference for vaccinations of officers and soldiers. As for the inoculation, Command should follow the policy of the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) and respects the wishes of individuals to register for the vaccination.

Army Logistics Command emphasizes that health information is based on public information from the CECC, and explained the various side effects and adverse reactions. Officers and soldiers can decide if they wish to receive vaccinations.
