The 6th Army: a tank slid off the slope, but servicemen properly handled the accident so that personnel were unscathed

The 6th Army Command stated that when a M60A3 tank, placed under Lanyang Regional Command, was carrying out training at Hukou camp this morning (19), the brake system was suspected to have failed and slipped off the slope. Fortunately, the captain of the armored vehicle properly handled the accident, so that the two servicemen in the vehicle were safely evacuated, with only minor contusions. After being sent to the local hospital for inspection, none of them had any serious conditions. The cause of the accident is currently being investigated by the task force.

The 6th Army Command pointed out that solid training is the basis of combat effectiveness for troops. As such, the unit will identify the causes, learn from experience, and constantly strengthen the operation training and risk prevention of the personnel of each unit to ensure troop safety.
