Army Command issues a press release stating that "officers and soldiers of the 6th Army were diagnosed during training at Armor Training Command"

Press release by Army Command

July 21, 110, 2000 hours

Army Command states today (21st) that a colleague affiliated with the 6th Army was notified by the police on July 19 that since he had been in contact with a friend outside the camp who tested positive, he was required to undergo screening at hospital and was diagnosed positive on the 20th. The health authority has implemented guides on measures for quarantine and isolation.

Army Command points out that it activated epidemic prevention measures before the results of the screening were released as the officer is currently under training at Armor Training Command.  PCR tests were also conducted on those in close contact with him; all test results are negative. Furthermore, relevant units had also concurrently carried out camp disinfection, an epidemic investigation, diversion, and division management measures, and Command should continue to monitor and grasp the health status of its personnel.

Army Command emphasizes that it will continue to implement prevention measures and preparation based on the epidemic prevention guidelines and requirements of the Central Government and the Ministry of National Defense to ensure the overall combat strength of the Armed Forces.
