Taoyuan Armed Force General Hospital said today (20) that the hospital has followed the policy of regular inspections for high-risk units as regulated by the Central Command Epidemic Center (CECC). At present, it has already found 4 patients tested as positive a few days ago, and immediately carried out epidemic investigation and PCR testing upon those close contacts. Besides, it has further expanded enlisting ward cases to carry out their screening.
Taoyuan Armed Force General Hospital pointed out that OPD, emergency, and inpatient operations were suspended of services immediately, whereas clearance and disinfection of the infected areas were also implemented. Meanwhile, the entire hospital compound had been fully conducted of disinfection, and the case reported to the Official Health Agency as well as the CECC. Right now, the hospital has been conducting its operation as instructed according to the guidance.
