In response to media reports that "a MP was screened for testing, and the result was positive," MP Command elaborates as follows:
A member from our Command recently sought medical treatment due to physical discomfort after taking sick leave, and it was reported that he was then notified of a positive test result. He has been hospitalized, while anyone who was in close contact with him was listed and arrangements were made to go to hospital for screening. The screening results for these people were negative.
MP Command immediately initiated response operation procedures, carried out comprehensive barracks disinfection, and implemented division management and other procedures. Furthermore, restricted personnel contact measures have been implemented, and Command will work with the local health agency for follow-up epidemic investigations. Command will continue to monitor the health of personnel to ensure the overall combat effectiveness of the troops.
