10th Army: A serviceman was diagnosed with a disease, and the camp has initiated contingency procedures to ensure combat strength

In response to media reports that "a serviceman of the 10th Army was diagnosed with a disease", the 10th Army Command states that the spouse of a serviceman from the Army was diagnosed with a disease after receiving medical treatment. The hospital subsequently notified the serviceman to go to hospital for testing, and the diagnosis result was positive as announced by the Taichung City Government today (22nd).

The 10th Army points out that the serviceman did not return to the troop army after he went in for medical treatment. In addition, after the unit was informed of the result, it had also, as well as working with the local health bureau to carry out epidemic investigations, initiated contingency procedures according to the regulations, including camp disinfection, epidemic investigation, diversion, divisional management and other operations. Besides, it shall continue to monitor and control the health status of personnel, while current close contacts remain healthy.

The 10th Army Corps emphasizes that Command will continue to implement epidemic prevention measures and preparations based on various epidemic prevention policies and requirements by the central government and the Ministry of National Defense to ensure the overall combat strength of the troops.
