Elaboration offered in response to media reports that "pilots don’t dare to fly F-5E fighters! Family of Air Force reveals that 3 academy cadet-officers had applied to quit from training"
In response to media report that " pilots don’t dare to fly F-5E fighters! Family of Air Force reveals that 3 academy cadet-officers had applied to quit from training", Air Force Command sadly expresses today (18th) that the content of this report has deviated from the facts and calls on the media to carefully identify it sources and the correctness of information to prevent the spread of false information. Otherwise, such false reports could undermine the morale of the Armed Forces and damage internal unity.
Air Force Command points out that it has already taken a pragmatic attitude towards accidents as it looks thoroughly into causes to reduce risk factors. Furthermore, it has also adopted even more rigorous maintenance and training standards to ensure the safety of colleagues and to stabilize the morale of servicemen as well as their families.
Air Force Command emphasizes that CCP military aircraft has constantly intruded our airspace and threatened the security of our national defense. As such, all servicemen of the Air Force have always kept their morale high and well united, firmly standing at the very fore to safeguard our airspace security and ensure our national safety. As such, Command appeals to our nationals for support.
