The Army Command issues a press release stating the "case of improper action by military servicemen from Lanyang Area Command outside the barrack "
The 6th Army Command states that a non-commissioned officer surnamed Wang and other military servicemen from Lanyang Regional Command had quarrels over some trifles at the barrack entrance of Su'ao Township, Yilan County yesterday night when they stayed overnight on leave. As such, the fight resulted in physical conflicts, and the Command has set up a special team to look into the case regarding improper conduct, and will severely punish personnel involved in the case and related cadres for oversight.
The 6th Army Command emphasizes that irregularities outside the camp will be reviewed according to regulations after investigation and clarification on the case is sorted out. If there are any illegal activities, they will be referred to law proactively, while relevant cadres will be reviewed of neglected supervision. In addition, the Command will continue to strengthen legal education and discipline towards officers and soldiers as well as their actions outside the camp to avoid the occurrence of similar cases.
