Air Force Command issues a press release stating that "the pursuit by the Air Force for commission of a Mirage Jet-fighter has been blocked"

In response to media reports that "the pursuit by the Air Force for commission of a Mirage Jet-fighter has been blocked," Air Force Command clarifies today (8th) that the content of this report is not factual. Regarding the Mirage jet-fighter and missile procurement case that involved a breach by the manufacturer over contract payment for commissions, the Air Force had already hired legal counsel to initiate legal proceedings via the International Commercial Arbitration Court in 2011, and won the suit according to the procurement contract and evidence.

Air Force Command emphasizes that the commission for a Mirage Jet-fighter was remitted back in December 2017. As for the missile case, the French firm believed that the arbitration compensation looked suspicious of "double compensation" and applied to a French court for "provisional seizure" to halt the return. As such, litigation is currently underway by lawyers of the Air Force, and the Command will continue to exhaust all legal means to ensure the greatest rights and interests of our country are achieved and ensured.
