Air Force Command issues a press release regarding the media report of whether "President Tsai's speech about military intelligence has already leaked and CCP aircraft is interfering with Taiwan's air space on average five times per day."
In response to media reports of whether "President Tsai's speech about military intelligence has already leaked and CCP aircraft is interfering with Taiwan's air space on average five times per day", Air Force Command notes today (28th) that this report is not factual.
Air Force Command points out that the radar station of our Armed Forces at Mount Song has divided the areas of reconnaissance and search based on geographic locations. As for the information released by the Ministry of National Defense (MND) in the real-time military dynamic zone, it is mainly based on the "maneuvering situations by CCP forces when accessing our southwest airspace." As such, the information from the two categories of data should not be confused.
Air Force Command emphasizes that the Armed Forces can well hold on with an early warning regarding the CCP navy and aircraft maneuvering on sea and in the air space, and it always follows the "Enforcement Regulations for the Management of Accidents during General Combat and Ready Status for ROC Armed Forces" to deal with such situations and to ensure the security of our national defense. Our nationals are called upon to continue to support the Armed Forces and rest assured that these are normal operations.
