Air Force Command issues a press release in response to media reports that "maritime patrol aircraft (MPA) conducting surveillance of CCP aircraft is suspected to have flown too close"

In response to media reports that "maritime patrol aircraft (MPA) conducting surveillance of CCP aircraft is suspected to have flown too close", Air Force Command states today (30th) that this report is not a true representation of the facts. After investigation, the flight operations by serviceman Wang are fully in compliance with each and every regulation and restriction.


Air Force Command emphasizes that the best way to improve combat effectiveness in the face of the current severe external situation is to adopt strict flight teaching in compliance with various flight regulations.  The Air Force will continue to strengthen personnel flight training as well as intensify each and every air-to-air measure against interference in Taiwan to ensure the safety of our airspace.
