The Army Command Headquarters issued a press release regarding the media coverage titled “Land owner complains about water tank next to Chi-ding Range filled with bullet holes”

The Army Aviation & Special Forces Command (“AASF”) Headquarters: Security of range is our top priority and we will not tolerate any potential security hazard

With regard to the media coverage titled “Land owner complains about water tank next to Chi-ding Range filled with bullet holes,” the Army Aviation & Special Forces Command Headquarters said that the Special Forces Division is responsible for maintenance and management of Chi-ding Range in Yunlin to ensure the neighborhood’s safety. The embankment and the bulletproof wall have been completed as of May 2020 and have been validated by the Infantry Training Command Headquarters as effective bulletproof measures. As of today since the range’s opening, the reported incident has never occurred.

The AASF said they value safety as the utmost priority and that they will keep strengthening safety measures and being answerable to local residents to ensure their safety and soundness.
