The Ministry of National Defense issued a press release regarding the media coverage titled “A number of Chinese military jets made multiple trips to the ROC Southwest ADIZ” September 10, 2020
The Ministry of National Defense issued a press release today regarding multiple entries of Chinese SU-30 and Y-8 jets into the Southwest air defense identification zone (“ADIZ”) this morning and said the Air Force has responded accordingly by dispatched armed forces to the air.
The MND said that the armed forces will continue to get a hold of the enemy through joint efforts of intelligence, reconnaissance and investigation and will react accordingly.
The MND called upon China to stop sabotaging regional peace and stability, which leads to nothing but animosity from the people of Taiwan and urged China to be a peacemaker in the region.
