The Ministry of National Defense issued a press release regarding the press coverage titled “China’s jets made multiple trips to the Southwest air defense zone”
The Ministry of National Defense said on September 9 that multiple jets, including SU-30 and J-10, made multiple trips to the Southwestern part of our air defense zone this morning. The Air Force managed to conduct close surveillance and respond accordingly with sufficient armed forces. As far as the statement about Dongsha Island being surrounded by the People’s Liberation Army, the MND rejected the validity thereof.
The MND reprimanded China for its sabotage of regional peace and stability. Officials said that the armed forces will continue to get a hold of the enemy through joint efforts of intelligence, reconnaissance and investigation and will react accordingly. The public should rest assured.
