Air Force Command issued a press release explaining the event that "a serviceman’s chin was broken in the army, and his grieved father cried to tell about the wrong done to his sergeant son"
In response to media reports that "a serviceman’s was broken in the army, the grieved father cried to tell about the wrong suffered by his sergeant son", the Air Force Command stated today (23) that the students with the surnames of Chang and Gao from the Air Force Institute of Technology of the command punched each other because of a dispute on August 4. As a result, the mandible of the trainee with the surname Chang was injured. After receiving the report, the unit’s cadre immediately assisted the trainee student to seek medical treatment and informed the family members of both parties.
The Air Force Command pointed out that the case was handled through administration investigation by the school by convening a student evaluation committee. Afterwards, each of the students was given two disciplinary measures in accordance with relevant regulations. There was no favoritism or unfairness. If either trainee refuses to accept the punishment, he can file a complaint in accordance with the regulations to ensure his rights.
