The spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense (MND) released a video that "war-mongering perishes, and oversight of war endangers" in the evening, expressing a solemn and serious attitude towards various oppressive military actions by the People's Liberation Army of the CCP, emphasizing that the Armed Forces will never provoke but will also never back off from its stance. It proclaims that Communist China must "never ignore our determination to defend Taiwan!"
The MND indicated that the most arrogant country is the one that easily provokes a war, whereas the most ignorant government is to the one that puts its people at war. In light of the CCP’s provocations and intimidation time and again, the only way to fight back is for our nationals to unite more closely and to see clearly the militant nature of the CCP, whose actions of disrespecting the public views and resorting to intimidation measures of warfare at every turn will eventually bring about a counter-productive reaction from the people of Taiwan. As such, these actions have not only resulted in anger and disgust among Taiwanese people but also seriously compromises the peace and stability of the strait.
The MND again stressed that the Armed Forces is confident and capable of safeguarding our national sovereignty and democracy as the most important stabilizing force of our country is also a life-long vocation to which servicemen dedicate their lives and loyalty.
