The 6th Army Command says today (19th), with regard to media coverage of “a perverted soldier abuses his comrade by forcing him to drink piss and masturbate”, that the incident occurred in June 2018, where conflict between a trainee whose last name is Ling, from Brigade 206 regular service military training, and another comrade. It was suspected that the incident involved inappropriate bullying, and as soon as the unit found out about the incident, the unit carries out investigation and hands over the culprit to law. Recently, the perpetrator was prosecuted by Hsinchu District Prosecutors Office on crimes of “compulsory obscene acts”.
The 6th Army Command points out that the Command will fully cooperate with judicial investigations and will punish the perpetrators based on the principle of “simultaneous criminal and administrative punishments”. The case will also be used as a lesson to strengthen the disciplines of 4-month military training and equal sex education to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
