The Air Force Command issued press release to explain today (11th) PRC implemented long-range navigation mission.

The Air Force Command today (11th) stated that the PRC assigned several aircrafts including H-6, Y-8 and Ty-154, and differentiate into two routes (south and north) to the western Pacific Ocean this morning to implement long-range navigation training; the north route consisted of H-6 aircrafts, crossed the Miyako Waterway and flew through the Bashi Channel and then returned to the camp; the south route consisted of H-6, Y-8 and Ty-154 aircrafts, crossed the Miyako Waterway and flew through the Bashi Channel and then returned to the camp; during that period, Су-35, J-11 and Mainring aircrafts assisted the training. The Air Force Command further stated that it is the first time that Су-35 implement the mission, and the air force can handle early warning information with regard to the dynamics of PRC aircrafts and ships missions within the area in advance, and carry out necessary handling efficiently to ensure national defense safety, thus ROC citizens have no need to worry.
