Army Command issued press release regarding media reports of "Black Hawk Helicopter Forcing to Land at Kaohsiung Linyuan Shooting Range" (March 13th, 2018)
The Army Airborne Special Operations Forces said today (13th) that the crew members found the warning light of an UH-60M Hawk Eagle Helicopter (number 923) of the 602 Brigade was on when it took off from Xinshe Base to conduct duty this morning, in order to ensure flight safety, the crew took precautionary measures to land according to standard operating procedures, and the helicopter successfully landed at the Kaohsiung Linyuan shooting range without casualties and property loss.
The Army Airborne Special Operations Forces said that upon the reporting, an inspection team was established to help on-site, and the flight will take off again after the completion of comprehensive double-check. We will keep various kinds of flight training with the highest safety standard.
