The Ministry of National Defense issued news reference materials regarding the "75th Military Service Festival Celebration and Awards Ceremony" of 2018. (February 27th, 2018)
The "75th Military Service Festival Celebration and Awards Ceremony" of 2018 was held at 10:30 am at the Po-Ai camp of the Ministry of National Defense. It was co-hosted by Vice Minister of the Ministry National Defense, General Pu Ze-chun and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of the Interior Qiu Chang-yue. 123 units and 270 individuals were honored with their excellent working performance in 2017, such as the implementation of military service work and the recruitment of soldiers.
Vice Minister Pu appreciated the support central ministries and councils, local government agencies and schools at all levels that help the smooth implementation of recruitment and administrative works of the national army with his highest respect and thanks; and also express his praise and encourage to the awarded excellence units and individuals.
He also re-emphasized that the establishment of an national army capable of defending national security need the joint effort of various government departments; looking forward to the future, he encourage military service administration personnel keep improving their works in comprehensive thinking and practical spirit, provide better service based on the principle of simple administration, efficiency and fair military service for the smooth implementation of soldier recruitment and the promotion of “voluntary military service”.
