The Ministry of National Defense stated today (28) that a Shenyang H-6 aircraft of Communist China was intercepted at 16:00 pm today as it flew through our southwest waters. After getting into the Bass Strait, it returned to its station of residence along the original route. During its entire course, our Armed Forces placed the H-6 aircraft under surveillance, and it was free from any abnormality.
The Ministry of National Defense emphasizes that the Armed Forces will utilize CISR activities to fully grasp the situations of the sea and air surrounding the Taiwan Strait. The Ministry pledges that our nationals can rest assured.
