The Ministry of National Defense released the press release stating that "H-6 and other aircraft of Communist China have once again performed long-distance sea training" (Feb 10, 2020)

The Ministry of National Defense said today (10) that H-6 and other aircraft of Communist China had flown from the Bass Strait, passed through the Western Pacific at 10 am today, and then returned to its station of residence via the original route to perform long-distance sea training. During the period, the air-borne force that escorted the H-6 aircraft of Communist China briefly crossed the centerline of the Strait. After our air-recon and patrol aircraft appropriately responded, intercepted, and broadcast for removal, the aircraft then returned to the airspace west of the centerline of the Strait.

The Ministry of National Defense (MDN) emphasized that, during the entire long-distance sea training activity by Communist China, the Armed Forces properly monitored, detected, and handled the situation in protecting homeland security, and the Ministry appeals to its nationals to rest assured.
