Ministry of National Defense: First Domestically Manufactured Aircraft Carrier Formation of People’s Republic of China Navigating Through the Taiwan Strait.
Ministry of National Defense expressed today (17th) that the first domestically manufactured aircraft carrier formation of People’s Republic of China navigated into the Taiwan Strait southward from the East China Sea along with a frigate, and was trailed by USA and Japanese warships during the course.
Ministry of National Defense emphasized that citizens can rest assured that the Armed Forces have fully grasped, monitored, responded, and handled the situation through joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, ensuring national security as well as maintaining regional peacefulness and stability.
