The Ministry of National Defense stated that as of 09:20 today (3rd), the PLA had implemented a satellite launch mission on a rocket carrier at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan. The flight path of the rocket passed through the southwest of our air defense identification zone and headed toward the Western Pacific, but posed no harm to the Taiwan region as its altitude was outside the atmosphere. The Armed Forces adopted joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems to closely monitor relevant developments and respond accordingly.
