The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated CPC that as of 15:35 today (16th), the CPC had carried out a satellite launch mission on a rocket carrier at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan. The flight path passed through the southwest of our air defense identification zone in the direction of the Western Pacific. Since the altitude of the rocket was outside the atmosphere, it posed no harm to Taiwan. The Armed Forces adopted joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems to closely monitor relevant developments and respond accordingly.
