In response to media reports that "the Armed Forces cannot host a dinner event as scheduled due to the epidemic," Naval Maintenance Division Command stated today (26th) that the dinner was originally scheduled to be hosted on December 25, 2020. The deposit was paid and contract concluded with the vendor supplier two weeks before the event. If there was any change of plans due to the epidemic, the restaurant would be notified of cancellation in advance. Later, the dinner was cancelled by the unit in consideration of the epidemic, and the deposit of NT$8,000 will be retained by the vendor supplier as agreed.

 

Command will continue to work with the Central Epidemic Command Center for guidance in "Navigating through COVID-19 Outdoor Living" to fulfill and strengthen each and every epidemic prevention measure.
