Minister Koo Inspects Marine Corps Anti-Air Warfare Exercise, Commends Personnel for Their Dedication to Air Defense
On the fifth day of the Han Kuang 41 Exercise live-fire drills, Minister of National Defense Wellington Koo inspected the Marine Corps anti-air warfare units’ combat exercise today (July 13), highly commending the personnel for their hard work in executing combat readiness preparations under the scorching sun.
Minister Koo first received a briefing from the unit and observed the Marine Corps’ simulated response to a scenario, where anti-air warfare personnel completed engagement procedures in an extremely short time, utilizing twin-mounted Stinger missile systems and man-portable Stinger missiles, among other standard weapons, to safeguard air defense security.
Minister Koo highly commended the personnel for their proficient weapon and equipment operation skills and their resolute determination to protect the homeland, offering praise and encouragement. He urged all personnel to continue diligently implementing combat readiness preparations to ensure national security.
