The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (3rd) that as of 16:00, it has successively detected a total of 28 sorties of various main and auxiliary PLA fighter aircraft, including J-16s, KJ-500s, and UAVs engaged in sea-faring activities, 27 sorties of which crossed the median line of the Strait and extended into our northern, central, southwest, southeast, and eastern airspace to work out with PLA warships as they conducted "joint combat readiness and patrols." The Armed Forces adopted joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance measures to closely monitor the situation, and dispatched mission aircraft, warships, and shore-based missile systems to respond accordingly.
