The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated that as of 21:14 today (1st), it had detected a satellite launch mission on a rocket carrier implemented by the PLA at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan. As the flight path of the rocket passed through central Taiwan and geared towards the western Pacific, it posed no harm to the Taiwan region as the altitude was outside the atmosphere. The Armed Forces made use of joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems to closely monitor developments and provide appropriate warning and response.
