The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated Communist China implemented a satellite launch mission on a rocket carrier at 15:00 today (22nd) from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan. The flight path of the rocket passed through southern Taiwan and geared toward the western Pacific at an altitude outside the atmosphere, so it posed no harm to the Taiwan region. The Armed Forces adopted joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems to closely monitor developments and provide appropriate warnings and response.
