The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (20th) that as of about 08:15 today, it had detected 21 sorties of various CCP auxiliary and primary fighter aircraft, including J-16s, Y-8s, and UAVs engaged in sea-faring activities, 17 of which crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and extended into our northern, central, and southwest airspace to conduct "joint combat readiness and patrols" with CCP warships. The Armed Forced adopted joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance measures to maintain strict vigilance, and dispatched mission aircraft, warships, and shore-based missile systems to respond accordingly.
