The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated that as of 18:00 today (23rd), it had detected that the CCP had implemented a satellite launch mission on a rocket vehicle at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan. The flight path of the rocket was directed toward the South China Sea at a height outside the atmosphere, so it posed no threat to Taiwan. The Armed Forces adopted joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance measures to closely monitor relevant ballistic developments, trajectories, and other information to respond accordingly.
