The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated that the CCP Shandong aircraft carrier fleet have been sailing from south to north along the west of the median line of the Taiwan Strait as of yesterday afternoon. As of about 0800 hours today (9th), the fleet had continued to sail northbound through northern waters. The Armed Forces adopted joint intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance measures to closely monitor sea and air space developments, and dispatched troops as appropriate to monitor and respond accordingly.
