The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated today (3rd) that it has strictly required the confidentiality of operations and audits with regard to the case of indigenously-produced submarines, and implemented the project based on the schedule control points. As for the media focusing on leaks of confidential information and providing details, the entire case has now entered judicial investigation, and as such the MND shall not be commenting on the individual case, such as the stance of Minister Chiu of National Defense, and shall define everything in accordance with the law. The MND is supporting and fully cooperating with the judicial authorities to clarify the facts, and will continue to implement confidentiality requirements to strictly prevent leaks of confidential matters.
