The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated that as of about 0900 today (9th), it has successively detected 25 sorties of various CCP aircraft, including J-10s, J-16s, H-6s, Y-8s, Y-9s, and KJ-500s for sea-faring activities. Ten sorties crossed the median line of the Strait and extended into the southwest airspace as five CCP warships conducted joint combat readiness cruises and patrols. The Armed Forces adopted joint intelligence, and surveillance and reconnaissance measures to closely monitor the situation, and dispatched mission aircraft, warships, and shore-based missile systems to stay abreast of developments.
