In response to media reports about procurement of medical equipment and supplies by a branch under its command, the Tri-Service General Hospital stated today (16th) that the Agency Against Corruption (AAC) had sent relevant units prior to carry out an investigation into suspected corruption. During the investigation, the personnel involved in the procurement were interrogated and ordered to return without bail.
Considering that the entire case has undergone the judicial investigation process, the Tri-Service General Hospital emphasized that it will adhere to the stance of "administrating according to the law, never wronging nor indulging", and work with investigations to clarify the facts of a case. If there is any evidence of a violation, the hospital will issue punishment in accordance with the principle of "parallel punishment of criminal law and administrative regulation".
