Regarding media reports that "The School History Museum of the Military Academy is suspected of using photos from a CCP Forum", the Military Academy has elaborated as follows today (13th):
1. To meet the opening and curatorial needs of the reconstruction of the school history museum in 2019, the Academy collected historical materials and photos from previous alumni in 2018. Some of the photos provided by alumni were taken in the early training days of the 4th Military Officer Training Class at Fengshan, Kaohsiung, hence why they are on display in the exhibition.
2. In view of fact that the school history museum has fallen short of detailed research and review regarding the exhibition photos and an error was made, the school has removed the relevant photos from the display and expresses its sincere apologies for the error. The Academy has also learned from this error and will review its mechanisms in the future so it accurately verifies the authenticity of historical data.
